To ensure maximum cycle life of your battery it is vital to keep the following basic rules:

 

 

• The battery needs to be fully recharged as soon as possible after use (even it is not fully discharged)

        Never leave a battery discharged.

 

• Do not stop charging till your battery is fully charged.

 

• Do not allow your battery to be discharged below 10,5V.

 

• Delivered batteries are ready to work.

        There is no need of battery formatting or initial charging.

 

• Full capacity is achieved after approx. 20 cycles. Initial capacity will be approx. 15-20% lower.

 

• Please remember your battery does not like hot temperatures and huge temperature changes.

 

• Apply automatic chargers meant for GEL batteries.

 

• Maximal charging current should not exceed 20% of the battery capacity,

        i.e. per 100Ah battery – maximal charging current is 20A.

 

      .  If you plan not to use your battery for a longer period, please disconnect it from any cables or devices, charge the battery and leave it in a cool place.

 

• The battery should not be stored in ambient temperature below 0°C. It can be stored without charging for 6 months.
